Dear all,

I would like to inform you we changed the registration strategy on the CMT.

As of now, the CMT will be only accessible through invitation. New users will thus have to be invited in a group first, using the button “invite users”.

Note this has to be done in a root group (the first group of your community) and not in one of the many subgroups of your community..

This change will :

• Allow us to automatize the validation of the registration, skipping my manual validation of each new members.
• Trust the new users as they will be invited by an already existing member being in most of the cases a group owner or admin.

The process will now only have 2 steps maximum:

• If you use LinkedIn to register, this will skip as well the email validation. You will actually be a member after the validation of your registration form.
• If you complete manually your registration, you will be asked to validate your email address by clicking on the link provided in the validation email.

NOTE:

• This does not affect public events. Non registered persons will still be able to join public CMT events. It only concerns CMT registration.
