SAYSO Public Workshop

By RBE
Wednesday, March 21 2018
10:30 to 17:30

The first SAYSO Public Workshop will take place on 21 March 2018 in Berlin, Germany.

This one-day event will take place at the German Institute for Standardization (DIN) in Berlin. Its aim is to get feedback on the first project results so that they can be further refined. Notably, the practitioners’ requirements identified and the existing SA solutions and tools (and the resulting gap analysis) will be presented.

Registration is free and open to all interested parties.

Benefits of attending the SAYSO workshop:

  • For practitioners: Contribute to refine the requirements for future Situational Awareness Systems for Multiple Stakeholders as identified in the first phase of the project. By providing your requirements on what needs such a system should satisfy, you contribute to shaping Situational Awareness Systems that best suit your operations, and which will support you in taking the right decisions in crisis situations. End-users will also be able to learn more about the situational awareness tools available on the market.
  • For suppliers of situational awareness tools: by attending the event, you will gain a better understanding of the needs expressed by the end-users during a European-wide survey conducted by SAYSO. In a tradeshow session, you will also have the opportunity to present situational awareness tools to the end-users who will attend the workshop.
  • For public procurement authorities: you will learn more about new procurement instruments (PCP/PPI) and establish connections with colleagues in other member states so as to be ready to jointly elaborate procurements of Situational Awareness Systems for Multiple Stakeholders.

The agenda can be found in the invitation below or here on this website.

Should you have any questions on the event, please contact sayso_arttic@eurtd.com.

The SAYSO workshop will take place the day before the Final Conference of the project ResiStand -  Increasing disaster Resilience by establishing a sustainable process to support Standardisation of technologies and services, which will take place on 22nd March 2018 in Berlin, Germany. Register for the ResiStand conference here.

    Good afternoon,

I lead a lead thematic working group on natural disasters in another Horizon 2020 Project. We are looking for gaps in research from end user perspective and I will be able to Elaborate on our first findings also with regard to situational awareness tools.

    Best regards,

    Iris Schneider
