Hanna M. Burkow, SAYSO project coordinator, is pleased to announce that the 2nd SAYSO public workshop will take place on the 4th December 2018 in Brussels.

The event will take place at the VBO-FEB (Rue Ravenstein 4, 1000 Brussels), just minutes from the Grand Place and the Central Station.

The event will focus on the following:

• Presentation of the results of SAYSO's requirements collection and its lessons learnt.
• Presentation of the SAYSO specifications for future multi-stakeholders Situational Awareness systems and tools that suit the needs of civil protection practitioners and emergency responders identified during our two surveys, various face-to-face meetings with practitioners and an extensive literature review.
• An introduction to public procurement EC-funded instruments (Pre-Commercial Procurement - PCP - and Public Procurement of Innovative Solutions - PPI - click here for more information) that allow public authorities to purchase the research and development (R&D) services to adapt innovative technologies to their needs
