Welcome to the registration page of the EU-ToxRisk Final Symposium 2021, taking place on Wed 3 + Thu 4 November 2021.

Participants will be able to participate either physically (at the Square, Brussels) OR will be given the chance to participate in the full event from a digital platform, an exclusive environment where people will be able to access the full programme (including the poster session and the visit of the industrial booths) almost as if attending in person.  

Please note that for sanitary purposes and to keep the social distancing, we will limit the number of physical attendees to 150 participants. 

OBJECTIVES OF THE MEETING

• Final critical assessment of the EU-ToxRisk project, dissemination of its resulting key outcomes and its impact in the implementation of new technologies and approaches (part I), with a focus on industry (part II) and regulatory needs (part III)
• Poster session on the EU-ToxRisk risk assessment strategy 
• Introduction to the upcoming research initiatives focused on the advancement of NAM-based assessment strategies (ASPIS research cluster). 

PROGRAMME

The full programme is open to the public. 

In addition to the plenary sessions, two poster sessions will be organised on DAY 1 and booths will be available to present existing solutions ready for commercialisation. 

The event will conclude with the kick-off meeting of the newly formed ASPIS research cluster (Part IV). The research cluster ASPIS: "Animal-free SAfety assessment of chemicals: Project cluster for Implementation of novel Strategies" counts on the collaboration of the 3 recently-funded European projects RISK-HUNT3R, ONTOX and PRECISIONTOX. 

DAY-1, Wed 3 Nov 2021 (11:00 - 18:00pm CET)

• 11:00 - 14:35: Part I: New technologies and approaches for toxicology
• 14:35 - 15:15: Poster session 1: NAM-based risk assessment case studies
• 15:30 - 18:00: Part II: Implementation of NAM-based approaches in risk assessment workflows 
• 16:25 - 17:05: Poster session 2 (Cont') and booths from the EU-ToxRisk commercialization platform

DAY-2, Thu 4 Nov 2021 (09:00 - 15:30pm CET)

• 09:00 - 12:00: Part III: Driving regulatory acceptance of NAMs
• 13:00 - 15:00: Part IV: ASPIS cluster: Advancing the safety assessment of chemicals without the use of animals - future perspectives

• You will need to present your EU Digital COVID Certificate to enter the Convention Centre. 
• We strongly encourage physical participation if you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This will ensure to run a safe and smooth event during and after the Conference. 

VIRTUAL AUDITORIUM

You will also be given the opportunity to attend the event ONLINE, through a professional virtual platform for scientific Congresses. 

• Participants will be able to attend the full program ONLINE (including the poster sessions and the booth), from any devices.
• The virtual platform also allows virtual networking with other attendees through chat and video call.
